Funny people, people who wear fur coats, eh? Pretty crazy. Maybe it's something in the fur?
It's funny to me, how many cell phones are around, it makes me think that the phone should be the emblem of the city.
You guys have weird body language, you know that, right?
This is a bit of a weird shot... but ... I like it.
More fur! She wasn't happy about having her picture taken, worried maybe about being lynched by anti fur wearing campaigners?
Furry bat-rats!
Wow. I made
Sarah look hot. This girl is a great photographer.
Sarah Brimley. Check her out.
Horsies! Scarlet loved the horsies. Ewen commented on the size of their schlongs. We all rolled our eyes. His jealousy was showing ;)
Size matters.
As do memories. I love taking pictures of people taking pictures... I don't know why. I guess maybe the art donkey in me wants to reflect my true self using other people?
Back at the hotel, I was feeling pretty cool, so i made a portrait. Light meter slung artfully around my neck. I was ready to take on the world.
Clarke was feeling great. really energetic. Fun bloke to go out drinking with.
Gio couldn't wait to get going either.
I like this shot... the one above... click on it and give it a
full view. I find it quite atmospheric.
I quite like that shot too. Shame it's so underexposed.
I like that shot too.
Full view?I was pretty nervous about this shot. "Now all this over here? This is my shit. And you ain't gonna show your face around here for a while. You understand me? I should fuck you up. Now get the fuck out of here." I was pretty sure I saw a gun in the back of his trousers. Nice. So yeah, I didn't get too close.
This place did great pancakes. Pancakes are love in food form. I swear.
Back at the hotel, they were all updating their MySpace's.
Bikes aren't used as transport in NYC, apparently.
Some very uppity men. They weren't too happy about having their photos taken. I didn't care much.
Cigar club? Wish I hadn't been in such a hurry, I took this shot whilst talking fast, if only I'd taken a second and done it properly... but I was late. But I still like it. Worth a
full view anyway.
...nice.
Met up wirh Cara later, who is one of the most loveliest people you will ever meet.
Jade was really cool, as you can see. Shopping was very important to these people.
Anguish - they didn't have it in her size.
Mmm... bokeh.
Booty-licious. Yeah.
Outside fashion week if I remember correctly.
"Like the french, the stupid are everywhere."
I found the iPod headphones on this guy to be quite funny. Classic meets modern.
Oops, poor exposure.
"It wasn't me."
The funny thing is, it's true. It really is that way around. (not the Abercrombie and Fitch bag... oh yes, he was shopping in the women's section.)
Street performers!!
We found this hilarious. We just don't have signs worded like this in England. We just imagined some American black momma standing at the side of the road and saying it to everyone, before adding "Now there's a good boy, here's a dollar, run and get yourself some candy." Interesting how you have to personify these things, eh?
Getting nice and close.
It's not about the Chrysler, I can tell you that.
Old women, they interest me.
I liked how they turned their noses up at food.
Outside NYFW, she was very serene and he... really wasn't. I kinda liked that.
There's probably one more update to come... then i'm gonna find the best pictures from the trip and put them in my gallery
Thanks for trawling through my crap and not abandoning me.
